Dyann & Doug’s Engagement Session at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve & Target | Dallas Wedding Photographer

I’m so excited to share these previews of Doug & Dyann because this couple is AMAZING and so much fun! It was one of the most fun, eclectic, and joy-filled Dallas engagement sessions I’ve ever shot, and these two cuties kept me laughing the whole time.

A few months ago, I photographed Doug as he proposed to Dyann in Prairie Creek Park in Richardson, and it was such a special moment. Doug had orchestrated the whole day so that Dyann spent time doing the things she loved most with some of her favorite people before popping the question. The entire day was full of thoughtful details (including a trip to Target, one of Dyann’s favorite places), and ended in a huge party with all of the people they love (Doug’s parents even flew in from Colorado). After being part of such an incredibly special and meaningful proposal, I couldn’t wait to photograph their engagement session.

We spent half of their session at Arbor Hills, one of my favorite DFW locations. From the cute picnic they shared to their adventurous spirit walking through the creeks of the nature preserve, I loved capturing the light-heartedness and joy of their relationship.

The other half of the session, we spent at one of their favorite places…. TARGET! This was my first engagement session at Target, but I’m sure it won’t be my last. Dyann & Doug wandered the aisles, finding their favorite things from sequin pillows to pizza rolls. Y’all, I can’t get enough of these two.
