Some sessions are especially meaningful because of the history behind them, and William’s newborn session was one of those.

A few years ago, I photographed Natalie’s bridal portraits at Perkins Chapel and SMU, then captured their wedding day at Perkins Chapel and Union Station in Dallas. Then, I photographed their first son, Benjamin, for his newborn session, and now it was such a joy to meet his little brother, William.

There’s something I love about in-home newborn sessions. They capture this season exactly as it is – the home you’ve prepared for your baby, the excitement of an older sibling, and all of the little moments that make these early days so special.

Benjamin was so sweet with his new baby brother, and it was fun to see their family settling into life as a family of four. These are the kinds of memories that only become more meaningful with time.

Natalie and Caleb, thank you for inviting me back to document another milestone for your family. It has been such a privilege to photograph your wedding, your growing family, and now sweet William. I’m so grateful to have been a small part of each chapter.
