Every year, Pantone comes out with a color of the year, and I love seeing how brides incorporate it into their weddings! For 2019, Pantone chose Living Coral, a bright, bold, eye-grabbing color. While it’s easy to let this color run the show, Becca Mercer (of Oh Be Joyful Creative) and I wondered what would happen if you created a wedding with an organic, wild feel that incorporated Living Coral in subtle, unique ways. The Cliff House in Dallas, Texas was the perfect setting for this wedding inspiration shoot.
Hybrid shot in film and digital, this shoot combines modern art from Rachel Wadlow with architectural floral arrangements and installations by Slow Darling. Greenery was placed gently on the cake by The Sweet Canvas Co., and is laced throughout the venue, mirrored in the letterpresses laurels gracing the invitation suite by Oh Be Joyful Creative. Silk adorns the tables, bouquet, and place settings, complimenting the antique glass stemware and handcrafted plates. Each element leads back to Living Coral in an organic, subtle way. We love this incorporation of the 2019 Pantone Color of the year!
