I’m Sami! Thanks so much for visiting my little corner of the internet and looking at my work. I love taking images that capture personality, beauty, and authenticity.

To kick things off, I wanted you to know a little bit more who I am and why I absolutely love what I do! I’m a musician and a photographer, and I love that I get to wear both of these hats. I love dark chocolate, vanilla lattes, and being married to my college sweetheart, Matthew. You can see more about my life and my musical pursuits over here!

I know I’ve been a little quiet over here, but it’s because Matt & I have been on our honeymoon! We’re back in Dallas now, dreaming of cappuccinos, crepes, croissants, and the hot chocolate at @angelina_paris (clearly my traveling priorities revolve around food). . I took exactly twelve pictures on my camera while we were gone, so I actually don’t have too many to show you, but I’m so glad! I loved that I didn’t have cell phone service, that my camera stayed in our hotel nearly the whole trip, and that I got to focus on Matt and had so much time to rest and to be present. (We did take photos in Paris with @timmoorephotographer, though, so be on the lookout for those - we can’t wait to see them!). . So many sweet friends have been asking how it was, and y’all, it really was magical. I learned that Matt has very impressive Europe-navigating skills, is immune to jet lag (HOW!?), and is the most amazing husband & travel partner ever. . Matt would say that his favorite part of our trip was seeing @Chelseafc at Stamford Bridge in London, but I loved the art museums in Paris, the Bastille market (best almond croissant ever, and we found the yummiest homemade jam!), and sitting at Trocadero Square with Matt watching the Eiffel Tower shimmer at night. And the Harry Potter Studio Tour (@wbtourlondon). And the afternoon tea at @ivytowerbridge. And prosecco at @proseccohouse. JUST ALL OF IT. . I’ve loved getting to reflect on our life together, celebrate our marriage, and being thankful that the Lord is good & gracious in every part of our lives. Helen was every kind of classy on her wedding day. From her beautiful dark hair to the white orchids she carried to the radiant smile she wore all day, every single detail was intentional, lovely, and full of southern charm!
