Katie’s bridal portraits at Arlington Hall felt like the sweetest glimpse into what is just around the corner for her and Luke this April.
There is something so special about this season – the quiet anticipation, the joy that feels just beneath the surface, and the chance to slow down and take it all in. Katie carried all of that so effortlessly. She was elegant and radiant, but also so grounded and full of peace. It made photographing her such a gift.
Arlington Hall was the perfect setting for her bridals. The soft light, the timeless architecture, and the gentle greens surrounding the property created such a classic backdrop. Every corner felt like it matched the tone of her day – refined, joyful, and full of intention.
Getting to photograph Katie again after her and Luke’s engagement session at Flippen Park and Lakeside Park made this even more meaningful. There is always a different kind of comfort when you’ve already shared part of the story together. Knowing that they will soon be married at Royal Lane Baptist Church and celebrating at the Warwick Melrose makes it all feel even more complete. These portraits are just one small part of a much bigger story unfolding, and it is such an honor to help preserve it.
Katie, you are so beautiful, and it has been such a joy to walk alongside you in this season!
