Heather and Joseph’s engagement session felt like such a sweet reflection of who they are together. We spent the afternoon wandering through Flippen Park and Lakeside Park, letting the pace stay slow and natural. These two were completely at ease with one another, sharing quiet moments, genuine laughter, and that kind of connection that doesn’t need much direction. The soft greenery, water views, and classic Highland Park scenery created a timeless backdrop that let their relationship shine.
Flippen Park offered beautiful pockets of shade and charm, while Lakeside Park brought in peaceful water views and glowing light as the sun dipped lower. I loved how effortlessly they moved together, making the session feel more like a relaxed walk than a photoshoot. Sessions like this are always a reminder that the best images come from simply being present with one another.
Knowing that Heather and Joseph will be getting married at the Dallas Arboretum next spring makes this season even sweeter. The Arboretum in bloom is truly magical, and I cannot wait to document their wedding day surrounded by spring color and garden paths. It is such an honor to walk with couples through both their engagement season and wedding day, and I am so grateful to be telling their story.
