Lexi and Zach’s engagement session felt like such a natural extension of everything their story has already held – quiet joy, steady connection, and a sense of ease with one another that never has to be forced.

We spent the evening wandering through Flippen Park and Prather Park, letting the pace stay slow and unhurried. Flippen Park, with its tucked-away charm, gazebo, and soft fountain, always feels a little like stepping into something timeless and romantic . It was the perfect place to begin – surrounded by quiet beauty, where their connection could simply be.

As the light shifted, we moved toward Prather Park, where the tree-lined paths and creekside views brought a different kind of depth to the evening. The movement between these two spaces felt intentional – from refined and structured to a little more organic and relaxed, mirroring the fullness of who they are together.

What stood out most about Lexi and Zach was how comfortable they are with one another. There was no need to over-direct or manufacture moments – they naturally settled into conversation, laughter, and quiet closeness. It’s always a gift to photograph a couple like that, where the images are less about posing and more about simply noticing what is already there.

I’m so looking forward to Lexi’s upcoming bridal portraits at the Kimbell Art Museum and their wedding at the Crescent Hotel Fort Worth. It’s so meaningful to document each part of this season for them.
