There is something so special about photographing a family in those first quiet weeks at home with their new baby. Everything feels a little slower, a little sweeter, and completely centered around this tiny person who has just changed everything.

Baby Baker is the sweetest little boy, and he is already so very loved. As their first baby, his parents are completely smitten, and it was so sweet to watch them settle into life with their new son. From the way they looked at him to the quiet cuddles and little moments together, their love for him was evident throughout their entire session.

Their home was the perfect setting for these newborn photographs, with so many thoughtful details that made the session feel personal to their family. Baker’s nursery was especially darling, with classic stripes, a beautiful mobile, and the sweetest little touches throughout. And, of course, their adorable puppy had to make an appearance, too. It was so sweet to capture the beginning of their life together as a family of four.

I loved documenting these early days with Baker at home – the sleepy snuggles, tiny details, and the simple joy of becoming parents. These first weeks pass so quickly, but photographs like these preserve the feeling of them: a brand-new baby, a beautiful home, and two parents completely in love with their little boy.
