The evening before their wedding at Highland Park United Methodist Church & Rosewood Mansion, Meredith and Jack gathered with their closest family and friends at Avra Dallas. It was the perfect start to a beautiful wedding weekend – relaxed, welcoming, and full of anticipation for the day ahead.

Spending this much time with a couple always allows me to tell their story more completely, and by the rehearsal dinner, everyone feels a little more relaxed in front of the camera.

The evening was filled with thoughtful toasts, great conversation, and so much excitement for the day ahead. One of the things I love most about rehearsal dinners is that they create space for people to simply enjoy being together. Parents, siblings, grandparents, and lifelong friends all gathered around the same tables, sharing stories and celebrating Meredith and Jack before the wedding festivities officially began.

Avra Dallas was the perfect setting for the evening. The warm atmosphere paired beautifully with the elegance that would carry into the wedding day, creating a seamless start to the weekend’s celebrations.

Looking back, it’s easy to see how the rehearsal dinner set the tone for everything that followed. It was a relaxed, meaningful evening that led into a beautiful ceremony at Highland Park United Methodist Church and an unforgettable reception at the Rosewood Mansion. Being invited to document each part of the weekend – from the Dallas Arboretum engagement session to the rehearsal dinner and wedding day – was truly an honor.
