There’s something incredibly special about photographing a family through multiple chapters of their story. As a Dallas wedding, newborn, and family photographer, being invited back again and again is one of the greatest honors of my job. I first met this sweet couple while they were engaged, and it was such a joy to photograph Riley’s bridal portrait session at the Lumen Room and their Room on Main Dallas wedding!

Fast forward to this fall, when I walked into their home to photograph their newborn daughter. In-home newborn sessions are some of my favorites, because families get to relax, settle in, and simply enjoy their baby. The soft light, the quiet snuggles, and the way parents look at their little one – those moments go by so quickly, and it’s a privilege to capture them in a natural and meaningful way.
