Michaela & Mike’s intimate Dallas Arboretum wedding was full of so much thoughtful, intentional planning, I couldn’t have loved it more. From the vintage dress that Michaela chose (a lover of history and art!) to the breaking of the glass they used to symbolizes that their marriage holds sorrow as well as joy, and is a representation of the commitment to stand by one another even in hard times, there were so many special moments throughout the day.
There is something so intimate about small weddings that having the opportunity to witness and document them is a true honor – I could not have felt that reverence more than I did as Michaela and Mike exchanged their vows and began their marriage together. They shared a beautiful meal, a lovely first dance, and the sweetest toasts with their family in a reception at Beverley’s, and I can’t imagine a sweeter way to start their lives together.
Michaela & Mike, what an absolute dream to capture this day for you – I loved every second, and can’t wait to see how beautiful your marriage is!
