Welcome to What I’m Loving in September! YAY! At the end of each month, I share things that I’m loving right now, in the hopes that maybe there’s something new you can try. 1. McKinney Bed & Breakfast
Our first anniversary is coming up on October 14th! Because October is full of weddings, we celebrated a little early by spending a weekend at McKinney Bed & Breakfast, just north of Dallas in the sweetest little historic town. Oh my goodness, y’all. I could move into this B&B and get used to having fresh coffee and homemade biscotti outside my door every morning. It was SUCH a dream. The owners were the embodiment of Southern hospitality (there were literally whoopee pies waiting for us when we came in our room!), and the room we stayed in was darling! We walked to the square in downtown McKinney for shopping (so many cute little places!), wine at Landon’s, and the most amazing grilled cheese at Patina Green. If you can’t tell how obsessed I am, just look at the photos from our weekend in McKinney!

2. Simplified Planner
In case you missed it, Emily Ley’s 2019 Simplified Planners launched this month! I always love Launch Day, and buy my planner immediately when their shop opens since they sell out so quickly. This year, they offered planner bundles that you can customize to include fun products to use with your planner. I got the Navy Dot Daily Edition, which is sold out now, but they still have tons of fun cover options in their shop! And, the bundle ships free, which I’m all about!!

3. Park City
It’s been a while since Matt & I went on a family vacation with my side of the fam, so I was so excited when we got to spend a amazing week in Park City with them this month! Hiking, biking, shopping, and grilling by the pool were the perfect way to enjoy the end of summer!!

4. Berkeley & San Francisco
I mean, seriously, so much travel this month!! We went to visit Matt’s brother & our soon to be sister-in-law (yay!). While we were there, I took their engagement photos at Andy Goldsworth’s Wood Line and the Palace of Fine Arts in the Presidio, which was so dreamy!

5. Being Home
After all our travel in September, I’m really loving being HOME. More travel is coming up in October, but for this week, I’m soaking up all the time I can in my decorated-for-fall apartment with my sweet husband!

6. Wedding Season
The busiest time of the year is here, and I am LOVING it! September has been full of gorgeous sessions and beautiful wedding (see Abby & James’s gorgeous Colleyville wedding and the beautiful Dallas Arboretum wedding that Cari & Christopher had!).
