On our way home from our shoot with Michael & Katie, Matt turns to me and says, “How could anyone not like Katie and Michael?”

He, of course, is so right. These two soon-to-be parents are the kind of people that you’re just drawn to. They’re warm and kind and when you talk to them, you know they’re really listening to you. And, you can tell, they’re going to be incredible parents.

Matt & I loved getting to spend the afternoon wandering Riva Row in the Woodlands with the Dearman fam and hearing about baby Joseph. I loved listening to Katie talk about how excited her family and friends are, about the cousins that baby Joseph will have, and about Katie’s own mama, who is so ready to meet her newest grandbaby! This sweet baby is going to be so loved, not just by his parents, but by a whole community of people preparing for his arrival.

Katie & Michael, we were honored to get to capture this season of your lives. We can’t wait to meet Joseph! We’re praying over everything you’e got coming, and we know you’re going to be the best Mama Bear & the greatest father in the galaxy!
