BRIDAL session locations
Many of my brides choose to have their bridal portraits taken at their venue so that the images are cohesive with their wedding day photos. That said, if you'd rather have a completely different look for your bridal portraits than the images we'll capture on your wedding day, this is the time for that - whatever your preference is!
Most venues include an option for bridal portraits in their booking collections, so if you're interested in this, be sure to check with your venue contact!

Your Venue
The Lumen Room
The Lumen Room is one of my all-time favorite locations, and is extremely popular for bridal portraits. With space to get into your dress, air conditioning, and clean floors that let us keep your dress clean, it's a great option for bridals.
They have lots of furniture options for a variety of images, there’s no need to reschedule if the weather is poor, and there is an easy place to change outfits. The studio feel and the beautiful lighting make for a unique and gorgeous engagement session!

Arlington Hall
Arlington Hall features classic architecture, the beautiful greenery of Turtle Creek Park, and so many spaces for lovely portraits. I recommend avoiding it on weekends and Fridays in case of events.

Annie's Bridals
The Meyerson Symphony Center
Timeless, classic, beautiful, and so lovely, the Meyerson Symphony Center is an absolutely stunning, iconic space in Dallas for bridal portraits. If I could go back and re-do my own bridal portraits, I would have them taken here! Apart from it being a stunning backdrop, this space involves minimal walking and is very easy to keep your dress clean - two big pluses!

Southern Methodist University
Oh, do I love SMU! The white columns, red brick, stunning landscaping, and abundance of lovely trees on the Boulevard make it an absolutely gorgeous backdrop. It’s definitely one of my absolute favorites. Bring a comfy pair of shoes, because there are so many great spots at SMU that we’ll wander around quite a bit!

Parking: Depends on the day of the week. I usually suggest parking in the Binkley Garage or Hillcrest Garage, or looking for parking on the SMU Visitor

The Nasher Sculpture Center
An absolutely dreamy, modern yet classic spot for bridal portraits, the Nasher has so many wonderful options

Fees: $300 Rental Fee
Rental Details: Photography sessions are only allowed after hours/when the sculpture center is not open.

The Dallas Arboretum
The Arboretum is a gorgeous place for photos. It is cared for meticulously, and always has gorgeous blooms to add color and vibrancy!
The Arboretum is open from 9 am – 5 pm, so sessions there begin at 3:30 pm regardless of sunset time. Because of how busy the Arboretum is on weekends & Fridays, I recommend shooting there on weekdays only.

The Mason
The Mason is an incredible historic lodge that has been thoughtfully reimagined into a special event venue, with rich details and so many beautiful, unique spots for bridal portraits.
