Annie and Anthony’s pregnancy announcement session felt like such a full-circle moment. I first met them a few years ago during an extended family session at White Rock Lake, and then again while photographing Annie’s sister’s wedding. Getting to step into this new season with them – one that holds so much anticipation and quiet joy – was truly special.
We met at Norbuck Park on a soft, golden evening, the kind that feels like it was made for moments like these. They brought along their sonogram, a tiny glimpse of the life they’re already loving so deeply. There is something so tender about documenting this in-between season – not quite what was, not yet what will be, but full of hope all the same.
Annie and Anthony have such a steady, easy connection. The kind that doesn’t need much direction, just space to be together. You can see it in the way they laugh, the way Anthony looks at Annie, and the way they both already hold so much care for the little one they haven’t met yet.
